Here’s a great idea!

Want to contribute to one of Greater Baltimore’s favorite food rescue and food resource operations? Why not hold a benefit fundraiser with Let’s Eat being the recipient of raised funds. Recently a Johns Hopkins University sorority and a fellow fraternity offered to hold a Spring Fundraiser exclusively for Let’s Eat. We are beyond honored and thrilled by these wonderful undergraduates at one of the world’s most notable universities. Got an idea: contact John Scollan at jpscoll

Please tap the Donate button and be the philanthropist your are.

HARBEL

This week in spite of the frigid weather Let’s Eat was able to provide a van load of food to this wonderful organization based in Northeast Baltimore. Let’s Eat Founder, Catherine Morneault, was so impressed with the efforts of HARBEL staff and family members who unloaded food from the vehicles. Let’s Eat is proud to be involved with such a top notch community services organization.

We have even thrown in a take home assignment this time.

Win. Win.

The philosophy of Let’s Eat is simple. When you help us, we want to help you. If you are a Foundation or Corporation who donates to us then we will do our best to use our assets to help you. An example is our relationship with Grocery Outlet in Overlea. This wonderful grocery store provides Let’s Eat with some of the finest food donations that we receive. They provide this generosity every week. Grocery Outlet also raises funds for Let’s Eat during their “Freedom from Hunger

1 Million Meals

That is the goal for Let’s Eat in 2026. We will rescue enough food to deliver 1 million meals to the food insecure population of Greater Baltimore. Help us do that. Send your tax deductible gift today

By the numbers

In Maryland there are 42,489 registered nonprofits with Baltimore City home to 6,645 organizations. At Let’s Eat we have never received any Maryland taxpayer money. All of our Revenue comes from private donations, special events and corporate grants. Virtually every dollar received goes to support those food insecure persons in Greater Baltimore. Trust Let’s Eat to do the right thing with your gifts and donations.

2025 Metrics

Last year Let’s Eat rescued about one million pounds of food and supplies. All were donated. An industry accepted way of calculating meals created from rescue is that 1.2 pounds creates one meal. By those measurements last year Let’s Eat served about 800,000 meals to those in need in Greater Baltimore.
