On July 13, 2020 Catherine and Ed Morneault incorporated their charity into a legal 501(C)3 tax exempt nonprofit. The Morneault family had been rescuing food for quite a while and now their enterprise became a true nonprofit.

Fast forward 6 years and it is beyond comprehension how large Catherine’s dream has grown. In 2025 Let’s Eat will rescue over 1 million pounds of food and supplies which will impact about 250,000 persons in Greater Baltimore.

Let’s Eat’s mission has attracted support from some major Baltimore institutions like The Baltimore Orioles , T Rowe Price, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, KeHE Distributors, IKEA and United Way of Central Maryland.

This month we will not be celebrating our accomplishments so much, rather we will be humbled that so many people have contributed to our mission.

Here’s a toast to our next 6 years of service to the people of Greater Baltimore.
