This is the French concept of nobility obligates. It suggests that people of wealth have a responsibility to act generously to those less fortunate.

Let’s Eat serves many thousands in Greater Baltimore who live below the poverty line. Won’t you help us serve these persons in need? Please give generously. It’s the noble thing to do.
