The problem of urban food deserts affects the health of over 144,300 persons in Baltimore City. So 23.5% of Baltimore City residents and 28.4% of children live in a food desert.

The mission of Let’s Eat is to provide nourishment to as many people as possible by donating food to our nonprofits in the city. This is a massive problem which requires new solutions and partnerships and Let’s Eat wants to be heavily involved with solving this problem.

JHU students are at the top-tier of college students anywhere. We are excited about what we discover.
