We salute perhaps the greatest philanthropist who nobody knew.

New Jersey native, Chuck Feeney, created the Duty Free Shops at airports around the world. He was rewarded for his vision by becoming a multi-billionaire when amassing a billion dollars was a rare feat.

Mr Feeney never cared much about personal wealth and status. He was the first person of note who created the “giving by living “ concept.

In fact, both Warren Buffett and Bill Gates , decided to follow in Chuck Feeney’s footsteps.

What a legacy!
