This year Giant Food is celebrating its 90th anniversary. As part of the celebration the company sought nominations from the public and we are pleased and honored to be selected as one of them.

Sometime in April our grant will be awarded at a local Giant Food location.

This grant was spearheaded by Mary M. Shaw, Vice President of Development for Let’s Eat.

The selection committee at Giant was overwhelmed by the number of wonderful comments about the humanitarian efforts of Let’s Eat.

Let’s Eat Board Chairman, JP Scollan said “to be chosen for a grant from Maryland’s premier grocery store chain is a validation of our work over the years.”

Let’s Eat was founded in 2020 by Catherine Morneault during the height of the Covid-19 crisis.
