While traveling America in the 1830’s this French philosopher and political scientist was amazed at the level of volunteerism that existed in America. I believe that same spirit of philanthropy and volunteerism is still part of the fabric of America. I know so because at Let’s Eat I see it every week.

I think the spirit of volunteerism originally stems from a group of people that knew God's love. The best is when volunteering is an overflow of love, then it is pure and unconditionally given!
